MAKE GUR PAPDI AT
HOME WITH THIS SIMPLE METHOD

INGREDIENTS
- Wheat flour – 1 cup (150gm)
- Jaggery(gur) – ½ cup (125gm)
- Ghee – ½ cup (125gm)
- Ground nut- 5-6 pieces
- Cardamom(elaichi) powder – ¼ teaspoon
- Nutmeg – 1 piece
METHOD
- First of all, fry the flour for making gur papdi. heat the pan to fry the flour. keep small amount of ghee and put rest of them in pan for melting, again pour flour into melted ghee fry it till it becomes golden brown. keep the gas medium and slow.
- When the dough(atta) starts smells good, the golden-brown start showing and ghee start separating then the flour roasted and ready. Take out the roasted flour from the pan and keep it aside. Give elaichi powder in flour. Then mix grated nutmegs. For frozen papdi, take a plate and lubricate it with some ghee.
- Mix Gur in flour. Remove the pan from the gas and keep it on a stand. In flour add grated gur and mix. Until the gur mixes well and melts in the flour keep mixing. when the flour and gur combines well, then freeze it.
- Put the mixture on a smooth plate to set the papdi. Press it in a spoon and do like same. Put finely chopped almonds on top of it and press it with a spoon. Then put the knife on marks on mixture and let the mixture cool slightly. After the gur papdis are set completely, separate the pieces into a plate and take it.
