METHOD OF MAKING GULAB JAMUN OF POWDE MILK


INGREDIENTS: -

  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 2-3 spoon white flour
  • ¼ cup milk (full cream)
  • 3 spoon butter or ghee
  • 1 pinch waking powder
  • For fry (ghee or oil)
For syrup :-
  • 300-400 gm sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ spoon cardamom powder

METHOD
To make syrup (chasani)
Add water and sugar to the gas when the sugar dissolves, cook more
Syrup for about 8-10 minutes, then turn off the gas using the cardamom(elaichi) powder. To make Gulab jamun

  • Put ghee in a pot and then pour the milk into it and mix well.
  • Switch off the gas and let it cool, when milk is little hot, mix it with powder of milk and flour. To ruminate(guthana) a lot, to make the mixture look like khoya. Now make 18-20 goliyan from this mixture and make each goliyan round well.
  • Now heat the oil into the pan and then put 4-5 pills pour and do fry on medium heat. Keep the oil on (goli) remove the jamun when they turn brown and take them out in the syrup(chasani).
Similarly all the jamun are in the syrup. After 5-6 hours the jamun will be ready.
  • Gulab jamun is ready to eat as you want either cold or hot.
