METHOD OF MAKING SHAHI TUKDA


INGREDIENT REQUIRED:-




  • 5-6 BREAD SLICE
  • ½ liter milk full cream (for rabri)
  • ¼ cup sugar (for rabri)
  • Cashew(kaju) 5-6
  • Ground nut 5-6
  • Green cardamom powder ¼ small spoon
  • Desi ghee for roasting bread
  • ¾ cup sugar (for chasni)

Method of making:
  • Place the milk in a heavy bottomed pot to boil.
  • After the milk starts boiling, reduce the heat and let the milk boil till the milk gets thickened in half, stir it occasionally so that the milk is fried
  • After thickening add sugar in milk, chopped cashews, almonds and cardamom powder on low heat for 10-15 and let the milk boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn off the heat and RABRI is ready and put till cool down.
  • Put sugar and 1/2 cup of water on the vessel(bartan) to heat for 10-15 minutes and between this keep moving the milk then syrup (chasni) will be ready.
  • Close the gas stove and keep syrup on other place.
  • Cut the corner of bread and give the shape according to you.
  • Piece will not be in large size, cut one bread in 4 pieces, do this procedure with all.
  • Heat ghee on a pan and put 4 pieces of bread in ghee and fry till both side of bread becomes brown , fry the bread on low heat otherwise it will be fully roasted.
  • Take all the bread pieces out on a flat paper napkin so the paper can soak up the extra oil and wait till bread cool.
  • Now take every piece of bread out of the syrup immediately then dipped all bread in a syrup.
  • Place the bread pieces on the serving plate and pour the milk from the top onto all the pieces.
  • Then garnish with the remaining chopped nuts. Put it to work and refrigerate it . the royal pieces is ready to serve and you can serve to your guest.
